Samm Crane

My name is Samm Crane. I have been capturing special moments professionally since 2023 and enjoy every moment of it.

I began my photography journey when I had my son back in 2020. Like most of us during the pandemic I was stuck in the house searching for something to keep myself busy. Being a new mom gave me the perfect model - my baby boy! So I began snapping photos at all hours of the day - my iphone memory could not keep up!

Having professional photos done by another photographer the first year of his life was a great experience, as I was no where near a skill level worthy of newborn photos at the time. However, when My son was two he was diagnosed with level 2 Autism, making it hard for him to be around unfamiliar people without having a meltdown. This was when I knew, if I wanted great photos of my kid, I would have to take them myself! And so I did!

Thanks to cousins, nieces, nephews, and family friends agreeing to be my models, and the unwavering support of my husband and family members, I was able to build my skills to get where I am today.
